4ink transforms true stories and personal encounters with musicians into expressive ink sketches.

Each drawing is a visual memory an intersection of music and art that honours creativity, gratitude, support, and the connections forged through shared artistic experiences.

Mickey, from the band Edrix Puzzle, an electric and modern jazz group, bought me a drink at the after-show party for Basement Jaxx at the Royal Albert Hall. In return, I promised to create a sketch for him.

Later, I ended up drawing the entire band from a gig I attended at Ronnie Scott’s, where I saw Edrix Puzzle live. That’s how it all came together.
